Hi, I'm Ashley Bozarth, a yoga instructor with nearly two decades of service industry experience.
Tall Drink of Yoga was born out of both frustration and realization. As a service industry worker with scoliosis, I struggled to find yoga resources that addressed the unique challenges of working long hours on my feet, tight hips, sore shoulders, and full-body fatigue, to name a few. Most classes catered to desk workers, leaving me feeling overlooked. But the deeper truth is that I wasn't just searching for a class that fit my body. I was searching for a space that felt safe enough to actually show up in it.
Yoga gave me that. It gave me a place to stop outrunning my pain and start facing it. For someone who had spent years pouring into others, learning to receive care, even from my own breath and my own body, was quietly revolutionary.
Wellness has historically centered those with more flexible schedules and higher incomes, leaving service workers largely outside that conversation. This work exists because it was missing. Tall Drink of Yoga is here to change that.
While my roots are in the service industry, Tall Drink of Yoga is for anyone who gives so much of themselves to others that they have forgotten to take care of themselves. We pour and pour until we are running on empty, and this practice is here to help you find your way back to yourself.
Because you can't pour from an empty cup. And you deserve to feel as taken care of as everyone you show up for.
Continuing to do my own work is what shapes the space I strive to create for my students. My goal is a space that feels safe, healing, and accessible. Whether you're looking to relieve physical tension, manage stress, or simply take a breath for yourself, I'd love to help you find more ease and presence, both on and off the mat.
I believe in the power of kindness, both toward others and ourselves, and I strive to bring that energy into everything I teach. Wherever you are on your journey, I'd love to share this practice with you. Let's move, breathe, and grow together.
